If you smell gas

Do not use switches, light matches or use your phone inside. Open windows, turn off the gas at the meter if safe to do so, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Once the property is safe, call us for a repair.

No heating or hot water

Check the pressure gauge — if it's below 1 bar, repressurise the system using the filling loop (if you know how). Reset the boiler using the reset button. If it doesn't fire up, or locks out again, call for an emergency repair.

Boiler leaking

Turn off the boiler at the fused spur and the water supply at the stopcock if the leak is significant. Place towels or a container to catch drips and call for an urgent repair.
